Credentials & Qualifications
Our team is comprised of genuinely gifted minds
A physical therapy graduate with a special interest in exercise and health sciences, Salam started his career as a part-time personal trainer with a special interest in office and computer workers dealing with musculoskeletal pain, most commonly neck and back pain. This interest grew bigger when Salam started teaching and researching about different topics in the fields of health and wellness between the years of 2017 and 2020. After authoring and co-authoring four scientific textbooks, Salam expanded his interest and knowledge about the issues office and computer workers face by becoming a certified ergonomic specialist by the Colorado State University.
“The idea behind WellFit Consultancy started in 2017, when it became obvious that the majority of office and computer workers visiting physiotherapists and physicians complained from almost the same patterns of musculoskeletal pain which can be prevented or at least reduced by following the scientific ergonomic and health guidelines. After observing the same outdated and repetitive patterns across almost all health and wellness platforms, it became clear that someone needs to shift the narrative towards an evidence-based approach of wellness and ergonomic solution for computer workers in offices and at homes.”
